Overview Of The Course
The diploma was developed during January-June 2007 by the local resource persons and submitted to FIATA for validation. The FIATA Advisory Board on Vocational Training (ABVT) before validating the course in its session held in Dubai on 20th October 2007. It oversaw development of the course material of each subject.
The course is revalidated at a regular interval of 4 years by FIATA to adhere to their guidelines and minimum standards.
During the course, the quality of instructions is monitored through spot visits and exchange of views with faculty members and participants by the Training Manager and Training & Education Committee Members.
The participants’ feedback/comments through evaluation forms on course contents and instructors’ delivery have been of immense value to bring about improvement.
Course Outline
The Course comprises of 14 Modules spread over 267 hours of teaching time as detailed below. The course will be delivered in about 6 months at Karachi and Lahore institutes.

Who Can Apply / Admission Procedure:
Member Companies and the public in general may apply for admission using the registration form downloadable from this site.
Basic academic qualification is Graduation; relaxed to Intermediate, where applicant has at-least two (2) years’ on-job experience in Freight Forwarding.
Class Timings:
From 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm from Monday to Friday.
Freight Forwarding Diploma Course Fee:
Rs. 40,000/- for PIFFA Members and Rs. 48, 000 For Non PIFFA Members, payable through crossed cheque favouring PIFFA Training Institute or Online PTI Account. Fee is taken lump sum, in advance, non-refundable and non-transferable.

You will have to pay an additional fee to obtain the FIATA Diploma Certificate after completing the PIFFA Diploma in International Freight Forwarding.

By Sep 22, FIATA had issued a total of 19,338 diploma certificates internationally, including 18,850 diplomas in freight forwarding. 538 diplomas in SCM.
46 FIATA Member Associations have obtained accreditation of FIATA Diploma in International Freight Forwarding.
